The Self-Cath® Closed system family of catheters offer a variety of options for intermittent self-catheterization. The catheters are not made with natural rubber latex.
Self-Cath Closed system consists of a catheter with siliconized surface for smooth insertion and a urine collection bag.
Each catheter is made of flexible medical grade PVC and has smooth fire polished eyelets for patient comfort and ease of use.
Self-Cath® Closed Catheters are intended for use in male or female patients requiring bladder drainage as determined by their physician. More specifically it is intended for use where drainage of the bladder into a suitable receptacle such as a commode or bedpan is not feasible or practical. The device can be used by either the patient, or once appropriate training has taken place or by a trained healthcare professional.
